What qualifications you need to be a PM would normally be a degree. This does not need to be a project management degree and is usually in a subject such as IT, business or management. In addition, employers typically look for candidates with any of the following project management certifications.
- PRINCE2 Foundation (mainly UK and Europe);
- PRINCE2 Practitioner (mainly UK and Europe);
- APM PFQ (mainly UK);
- APM PMQ (mainly UK);
- AgilePM Foundation (mainly UK);
- AgilePM Practitioner (mainly UK);
